Default I'm Thinking About This

I'm thinking about doing a gas tank swap. Removing the side tank & going with a 93-98 two door blazer, tahoe,Yukon rear tank. I'd like to keep the filler neck in the same spot.

I'm thinking this could be a easy swap, if my tail pipe doesn't get in the way! Should help with traction and plus being a 30 gallon tank!

Does anybody think that its a good idea? And worth a shot.
I found one @ a junk yard for 40 bucks complete

measure it out and try it. most people don't get a new tank until the move to a full race setup.

Your a 100% right! If I can make it work like stock & not have to worry about gas leaks I'd be happy. The filler is what I'm worried about.

I am interested to see your results. I have been wanting to swap to a rear tank for sometime now, just haven't gotten around to doing anything. This would be a low cost alternative to the custom tanks some of the guys here are running.
