So I go out to the Midnight Drags at our local 1/8th mile track Saturday night just looking for something to do. One thing led to another, and I decided to race the Saturn. Little did I know that my $1000 car would make me $100! What you know about Best R/T (.504) and Most Consistent (11.470 & 11.474) paying $50 each and a trophy! I had a blast!

I can't wait to get the truck running again--I forgot how much I miss racing.

This was the first step into the Rice Underworld. Stay away from the light!!!!! Next thing you know you will be confusing that 1/8 with a 1/4 mile track and in you mind you will believe that the Saturn run's 11's at the track. Careful Skipper your starting to scare me.

Y'all are just mad because I'm gonna clean house in the bracket racing at the EFI Nats. The Saturn qualifies for the bracket, doesn't it? It's a GM EFI car.

 

Scream, don't pay attention to these guys... Racing a Saturn is more fun than not racing at all...

 

Hmmm.....other than Flyer (once)....what other truck mod shows up at the races? That would be ME!!! SBSO 02/03 Thunder 02/03/04 Wanna run my wifes nissan. I'm pretty sure it would be in the 9 second club.

And my brother sold his 3 month old Dodge Hemi RCSB stripper and bought and Accord. WTF is the world comming to.

 

I thought that was a Malibu you had at the Thunder shootout a couple years back. LOL!!!

 

Well, maybe this year there will be another truck mod at a race. I just have to get motivated and pull this engine out and see WTF is going on w/ it.

Speaking of events...there isn't going to be a bracket at the Commerce event is there? I was really looking forward to running at the closest event to my house.
