I've got the money ready, I just don't have the motor out yet. I'm going to start ordering parts soon.

I'd like to have the engine out w/in the next week or so.

That's awesome.

I'd love to get into bracket racing. A friend of mine runs in a local club. He's always telling me to go buy a cheap bucket, tune it up, and run the wheels off of it.

Sounds easy enough, but it seems like three quarters of the club are wheel-yanking muscle cars. I don't know if I got the guts to get up there against that stuff... even though things are "equal" and all. It's too un-nerving.

I did see TWO "family" vehicles run in the brackets... but to counter that was a nitro-powered early Dodge truck and a 1st gen F-bod with a pro-stock motor and drivetrain setup. Talk about some beautiful sounds. I got videos at home, but the image quality is **HORRIBLE**.

Nah...I hate deep staging. I always pre-stage, come up on the converter a little bit, and bump the car just enough to light the stage lights.

My first light was a .600-something, but other three were .54x, .55x, and the .504.

A TON!

I go through about a quart every two weeks. But hey, it's still getting 28-30 mpg and runs pretty good for what it is. I've had a lot of trouble with the sunroof frame rusting out, and the tops of the door frames. The sunroof was an easy fix with some silicone, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do w/ the door frames when they start getting worse.
