Jim, have you ever considered getting rid of that truck and coming back to GM. I don't bash you for trying dodge out by no means (i almost bought a new 2002 qc loaded out before i bought my 01), but if i were in your shoes, and the crap you put up with being a open minded dodge owner, i would be looking at getting rid of it just to spite people over there. i have read post where you say you are happy with the truck and that is great, but, the comradery (sp) just isnt' the same on that board.

 

i sorta disagree. i think the attitude would be worse. in my opinion there is an aftermarket for dodge. might not be as large as gm's but there is one. yea, the pcm is hurting you guys. but lets say the pcm woes are gone and you can tune till your heart bleeds ram blood. are the attitudes gonna change over there on that site.

truthfully, lets say with hemi edit(meaning computer free for tuning), and all the other bolt on's you have available, do you think your guys would still complain that a gm beat them if they had one more mod done than them? i do, i think we would hear, well, he has individual coil packs or his truck is lighter or some such crap.

i am not trying to bash dodge people. but from my readings on that site, i am so glad i don't own a dodge. the ego's most of them folks carry around are too big for an aircraft carrier to float.

 

Goshawks, I really do like my Ram better than the 00 Silverado I had, not saying that to spite anyone here, it's just the truth. That doesn't mean I'm staying with Dodge now, I get a new ride every 3-5 years and wanted to try the Ram, I really like the looks of the 04 Ram better than the 04 Silverado or Sierra, don't like the new redesigned F150. There are alot guys over at DTW who real real nice, they are car and truck enthusiats, not MOPAR/HEMI fanatics. It only takes a few bad apples to ruin the whole basket, there might be a few more on DTW but I've had a few guys side with me and have may back. I still REALLY appreciate the guys here, I definitly have more respect for eveyone here than at DTW. I still get a few new comers on this site start to give me **** for being a Ram owner and posting on a GM site. That's when alot of you guys come to my aid and put the person in their place, it is much appreciated! I still like to post here and help out if I can based on what I learned with my Silverado and what I'm learning with my Ram. If and there will be a when I'm looking for another truck, I will be open minded and look at everything that's on the market at the time. I will then buy what tickles my fancy, like I did when I bought 04 QC Ram Sport. I have no regrets, I really like my Ram.

i appreciate what you bring to the table over here. i have seen your post and i know they aren't malicious and are meant to help and open eyes. i guess i get frustrated seeing the post over there that are designed to do the same thing and we always end up with chebby or turd or whatever they call ford and it's always the hemi walked a shopping cart.

well, when you look for a new truck, maybe gm will have the new true SS out. maybe that will entice you to come back. btw, i commend you for trying to educate them folks.

Id be curious to find out what is so interesting to keep those guys on that site. I mean there are very few mods available, so setups cant be that diverse and they seem to have no concern over what the competition is coming out with. Most obviously have their head up their ***. That SS trailblazer is going to be sick. A few mods on that thing and it will no doubt smoke the fastest HEMI and a few more and its going to give the SRT10 a run.

Wow I read every post over there up to Onyx post and I almost messed my self. Those are some CLOSED minded people. They live in a very small world and if you say or do anything to harm there world you are the enemy.

 

Don't forget about the gail banks Durango special when talking about the SS trailblazer concept, the twin turbo hemi from banks will probably kill the SS trailblazer, I'm sure............
