I would use xylenes(117 octane) instead of toluene and also put in 2 ounces of Marvel mystery oil as the additives that the gas manufacturer's add need to be added back in for proper piston ring lubrication. It also helps I work in a chemical plant.

I've heard that a certain high end suv (one of the range rovers i think) tells you what the average octane of the fuel in your tank is. It would def. be nice to know and test all of the gas stations around.
