I just got a 6.0 swap 2wd swb pewter 1999 silvy (Slowprocess's old truck).
Needs a tranny. T56 swap or another 4l60e with my fuddle 3400? Put in your
two cents worth if you like.

I think that t56 would be fun as hell. Its going to be my daily driver (bye bye gas money lol) Just dont understand why used 6speeds cost so damn much. Wonder what an 80e swap entails.

80e swap is pretty straight forward, lots of guys have done it. Unless you are planning on monster power, I would recommend a built 4l65... you wont have to worry about your trans anymore. With a 6 speed, you'll be going through clutches, even with moderate power, plus you will have to cut your floor and mod up a shifter, plus adding a clutch pedal is a pita from what I have heard. I have a friend who had the t56 in his Silverado SS and he kept going through clutches every couple of month, granted he is FI, but he went back to a built 65 and has had no problems.
imho i would go with a built 65... performabuilt and FLT are both great vendors and have great transmissions... among others.
