Well it is my personal opinion and alot of others a cam is not considered a bolt on. Go over to tech you will see them talking about getting 400rwhp with just bolt ons and that is without a cam. BTW there hasnt been naybody to 400rwhp with just bolt ons in a 5.7

 

a cam is a bolt in... when someone says for instance "bolt on 4.8L" that usually means n/a.. so i guess thts why some ppl classify a cam as a bolt on since "bolt on" and "n/a" are closely related. Everyone has their own opinion... if anyone ever asks "what i got" im just like.. its a cammed 4.8 with gears. Bolt ons are almost a given nowadays.

i quit dipping when dip was 2x the price of cigarettes. it wasn't too hard for me to quit and i dipped for 3 years.
