I didn’t replace it. I has to come out to remove the DBC throttle pedal assembly. My truck is factory manual. But I’d think that if you just remove all the shifter crap from yours and replace the column covers with manual trans ones (if you can find them...might be a hard find), you’d be golden.

ah ok, yea I removed the column shifter already, But like you said column cover for a manual is like finding a unicorn. Some said try a trail blazer which I found in a junkyard but it doesn't work.

You could always try your hand at fiberglass and try to fill and smooth the holes. Then paint it. Worth a shot maybe.

Much appreciated. Keep looking for those column covers though. You'll find a set. Or, you might find a new hidden talent working with fiberglass! Good luck

You were right. 40a ignition fuse blown under the hood. Confirmed with meter, problem solved. You'd think a blown 40 amp fuse would be obvious. Thank you so much.

Thanks to everyone for the help in solving this issue. Lesson learned. Check fused with a meter. A blown fuse isn't always obvious by looking at it.

I'm looking too after I moved the auto shifter to the floor

The part number for the manual column upper shroud is 26072994

Look for these vehicles in a salvage yard (the manual S-10 is probably the easiest to locate)

Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra Base 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002
Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra 2500 Base 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002
Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra 3500 Base 2001, 2002
Chevrolet SUBURBAN Base 2000, 2001, 2002

The part number for the column cover is in my manual conversion thread. It fits but you will have to color match it. Very easy to do. Get the correct color and some adhesion promoter. SEM Solve before painting.
