Default I need advice.

Just a week ago I had plans on keeping my truck for another 3 years or so. Now I have decided to sell my ttuck and get me a 02+ RCSB GMC or a Nissan Maxima SE 6speed. Here is where I need advice. I really don't know how much to ask for my truck or where to sell it. My tuck is paid off. I have the title. Its an SLE, power everything except for seats, 26kmiles and its got the 4.8 engine. The interior of my truck is perfect.
Not a single spot or stain on the seats or carpet. The exterior is almost perfect. This is beyond my control. It does have very few and very small stone dings on the front bumper and hood. You really have to look close to notice these minor imperfections. So how much do you all think I should ask for it? After I do sell it, How much do you all I thihk I should pay for a used 02 in the same condition as mine with <25miles on it? OH.. anybody from the RGV, I am accepting bids on my truck and are welcome to come see it.

When you sell it do you plan to sell the intake and programmer seperately? You may be able to get more if you take those aftermarket parts off and sell them, instead of letting them go with the truck.

If you wanna get rid of the intake, gimme a holler <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Alright guys, I made up my mind. I don't want a Nissan Max.. I want a truck. Eather eather an ext cab or single, 5.3 and 02 or newer. Because I was the 1st to drive my truck off the lot, I was the one to take the biggest depreciation hit. This is why I am considering buying a used one, maybe something with less than 20K miles. This way I won't get a double wamming. I went looking aroun at several dealerships and found some pretty impressive deals. I came upon this 2002 GMC ECSB with 19k ml, 5.3 engine for 19,995. I thought it was a pretty good deal. This makes me belive I won't be getting much for my truck if I trade it in at the dealership. What are you guys thoughts on all this. I need some iniput guys. Thanks in advance

Why the heck would you trade in your 2001 ECSB for a 2002 ECSB??? I wouldn't do it, but if you have the money then go for it. Why not just put a blower on your 01? Or a 345 hp 6.0?

I'm with Homie on this one. Getting a used truck, one model year off, that is just about the same as your current truck doesn't add up.

I could understand if you were getting an 03 with the chevy new hood and wanted the rebated and interest rates, or if yours had 80K miles.

If you are after a 5.3, just buy one and have it installed. A 6 liter would be better. With a mild cam and headers, you'd be very happy with the power.

Why not just buy new? I'm sure you can find some new 02's left over. Or go with the 03 GMC.

Actually I am not just after the 5.3. I also want to get rid of my truck becuase I have been in a few wreckds. This is the 3rd front bumber and the 2nd rear bumper I have on. I pretty much have had bad luck with my truck.
