Is your truck lowered at all? If you can get pics, try to get some from the side to show how much they hang down below the frame please.

Bare with me on the pics and videos guys, my sister just got a digital camera and I am still learning how to use this thing. I am a little computer illterate as you can tell.

They are about even with the sub frame connecter the stock exhaust was a little higer up hanging but no scraping problem sounds since Friday. And to be honest with you guys I dont know if my truck is lowered or not I really dont think so, but friends and relatives told me it looks lowered to them and since I have shorter tires that probley has something to do with it.

The factory connectors with the wires will work but heres the problem. The passenger side is perfectly fine (except for that damn spark plug along the fire wall is a bitch to get out) I also bought the magnacore wires that fit the dynatech system its just they are a little longer in length. The passenger side needs nothing for the wires everything curls in place and nothing touches the drivers side is another story. The first and second plug is fine as is but the 3rd pipe from the header swoops real high and comes back down and the wires werent long enough to go over (and they would still touch) so they went in between so the two back plugs and wires were touching the backside of the header. I noticed and bought some of the MSD stuff and it works fine now.

Pics will come soon. I cant say anything about TOG because there is alot of people that have them that are very satified with them but I still cant believe the differance these headers made for my truck. By far the best mod I have done yet, blows the Superchips programmer out of the water. I have only had one day to play with the truck. Ever since Saturday its been raining here non stop and isnt suppose to stop till friday and by then it should be snow.

Onequick, did you re-use your stock gaskets and manifold bolts or did you use the ones that came in the kit? Reason I ask is because several people have told me to re-use the stock stuff and since I bought the kit used that would save me some money. Thanks.

04 the kit comes complete, it comes with new manifold bolts good OEM quality gaskets, and 8 new nuts to connect the headers and the mid section.

As far as buying the kit used, you could reuse the stock manifold bolts but I would buy some new gaskets since there is a possibility to bend the gaskets.

I bought some of that MSD tape as well. I wrapped #5 and #7 up good and fabricated some holders ( out of sheet metal) to pull them off the headers.

I got my interference problem fixed the other day. I ground down the weld on the driver's side piece and ground the tranny crossmember frame bracket that it was hitting. All is quiet now.

That 'tin can noise' describes it pretty well.
