I keep seeing post about.... lets say I am stock, the other guy is stock, why did I loose so badly.
So my question is: WHAT IS STOCK???? What constitutes being stock?
Intake, exhaust, tunes.... I consider it stock, because you really are not adding anything, just removing restrictions from the vehicle.
Please enlighten me with your thoughts.

when i say stock i mean off the factory. but that adds some indiscretion because some factory trucks come with random upgrades like exhaust etc. so i guess stock could me intake and exhaust. but i wouldnt say a truck with a tune is stock.

NOT Stock. Do we agree?
Now what about chopping your muffler or cats. How about airbox trimming. I havent added anything, so is it really worth being considered modded?

To me, stock is untouched, as is from the factory. If it has bolt ons, then it's stock with bolt ons...if it has head cam, then it' definitely not stock. If it's Parish's truck...well, I'll let you be the judge

Cant argue that. When people ask me, I say stock with a CAI, Muffler, and tuned tranny.
