there's a couple of places you could go and get some good services for your $100.00

BlackBeauty you crack me up dude

Let's see 100 bucks, how about the Corvette servo (20 bucks) and maybe a Hayden transmission cooler (80 bucks or less). The servo with the HPP3 will have you shifting real good, and the cooler can keep temps down with the increased line pressures.

BlackBeauty I have one of the cheap unofficial service manuals, which isn't very detailed but the main thing it says for you to check when not shifting at the right time is the "Transmission pressure control solenoid valve" I don't know where that is but maybe someone else will know or maybe you already know. Hope this helps...

thanks for the input....and Black-if you have ever been to Texas Tech or even if you havent, there is no need to spend money on "services", there are so many fine *** chicks here i dont even know where to start.

on the flip side, my original question. i live in a dorm here in lubbock, so i dont have access to tools. i was hoping something easy, and i am a little skeptable about the servo. i am hearing that people are having problems with them. if people have some better things to say and enlighten me some... that mite be the rout i go, just dont know where to go to get it installed for cheep...or free.

I love the servo, I know some people say it gives you more torque management but yours is a 99 and they supposedly have the least amount of TM anyway. Once you get it in you will be glad you did. All the tools you need are a flat head screwdriver (probably have one already), needle nose pliers, 10mm socket and a C Clamp. And some vaseline (don't know if you have any of that already ) to lube the new seals. It sounds hard but just put everything back in the same way and order it came out and it is an easy 20 minute job, don't even need a jack. For the trans cooler you will need a flat head screwdriver, 10mm wrench, adjustable wrench, pipe joint compound, wire loom, and scissors. I can see why you might not want to do it, though. You could probably get a roll pan for a hundred bucks, or some LS1 fans, or some plug wires.

you could always get the throttle body whistler. i've yet to hear of definite power gains, but hey...it's around $100.
