Default I Finaly Made It!!! YESSSSS!!!!

OK, it may not mean much to many of you, but i found out a couple hours ago i made the E-5 advancement. Thats an extra $300 a month, and almost $30k Oct. 1st. The last couple years i've had to work for some dumb asses that dont know half of what i do, but are incharge cuz there higher ranking. NO MORE. Now my job is going to get so much easier, and i can pay for more mods. I am thinking about adding a Yukon to my line up, and getting rid of one of the others. I really want a Yukon Dinali, but those are a little high. So many plans, and now so much money.

BTW, as an AE my rating is so tight very few people get advanced, thats why im so happy to make it with the little time in i have.

MO MONEY, MO MONEY, MO MONEY, MO MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!! Thats awesome. My brother is always complaining about having to listen to idiots that have no idea what they are talking about. I guess having a college degree starts you off as an officer or very close?? He hasnt ellaborated all that much. As soon as we begin talking about it he gets off on a tangent about war and Afghanistan. He is now in Afghanistan and excited about his upcoming NCO status.

Green, i jioned in 01' as a high school drop out. Now i have a degree in profeshional aeronautics, and im working on another one. I made it from E-1 to E-5 in three years. Not too bad. hahahaha.

F8L, its 200 questions about stuff like "whats the resistance of 22 gage wire 1000' long at a temperature of 23*c?" So yea, its kinda brutal. Not all #s are that hard, but alot.

Thanks for the congrats guys.... I need to go buy some beer tonight.

Damn!! Thats makes it quite a bit more impressive!!! Seriously thats great!! I dont mean to knock those that chose to go the traditional route (high school to university then into the work force), I originally went that route. I just find it more impressive when people find a way to do a little more and do it on their own. Again, congratulations.

Congrats! I never served in the military so I really don't know a lot about the rankings but it must be good for you to be soooo excited.

Are you planning on parting out the '00 ECSB if you get the Denali?

Well, if i do go for the Yukon i'll most likely just swap most of it over. But that all is way up in the air right now, and if it does happen it wont be till Oct., when i get the big check. Im pretty sure as soon as i get home and crank up my truck and hear that sweet sound again, ill be in love all over.
Who knows, i have to many dreams and plans.
