I left the dealer this morning with a new oil pump and a ls6 valley pan and only forked out 43 bucks. I always get 10 over on my personal parts, and turns out I had a credit. Made me smile all morning. Jay

Considering the dealer r@pes us 99% of the time, it must feel good to get a bargain.

I lost my parts connection when he left. I think I musta dealt w/. him 5-10 yrs. He always hooked me up, & whenever I needed GM dealer parts, I only went to that dealer & specifically him. Anyone else wouldn't cut me as good a deal.

On top of that, he flat out knew his ****.

 

that's nice they give you employee discount. I have only received that just a few times on some high dollar items

 

Definitely good to have a parts hookup...I get a deal since I work at a dealership, and I know the parts manager at the Chevy dealer down the street and he always hooks me up good

 

I have two different buddies who work at local dealerships so I get parts at their cost. Definitely good to know people!

 

You're probably the reason he got fired

 

Even better since I haven't worked at a dealership since 98.
