Default I feel harsh road bumps in my throttle pedal?

Before i lift my truck up this weekend to do a complete check, i was looking for suggestions...

05 sierra ecsb 4wd, 6inch fabtech lift

When i drive over railroad tracks or harsh pavement bumps, i feel a "vibration" in my throttle pedal... Any ideas?

Jared

Cable stretched due to the lift maybe.

Maybe there's a pin or bushing in the pedal assembly that's worn?

I don't get it. That pedal is essentially just a switch bolted to the floorboards. Not sure what it could be resonating.

Sounds like you have a loose steering component then? ...you'd think that you'd feel that in the steering wheel instead of the accelerator pedal though.

+1, that's why I suggested that maybe something was worn in the pedal, but since it's a moving component I suppose that anything's possible

Mine does the same thing next time you go over the rr tracks or what ever use your other foot and pull back on your brake pedal and see if its that... Mine does the same thing and if you actually watch the brake pedal it will move side to side real quick over hard bumps and rr tracks but if you get down and try to move it it's solid Lol i just got used to it... It did the same as your describing
