HVAC Blower Motor - 02 z71 tahoe

I lost the ability to change the amount of air for my front hvac system. I can only use setting 4 (123&5 do not work). I changed out the in-line resistor and still only setting 4 works. The blower seems to be working and i tested the switch (which is mechanical) and that seems to work fine too.... Any ideas before I take it to the $dealer for out of warranty work? Fuses, grounds or something easy????
Thanks its starting to get cold up here....

Well did you fix it ??? If so let me know cause on my way home today I was backing in and noticed no air was blowing and mine only blows on 3,4, & 5. No 1 or 2. I stumbled across this thread after searching for a post that I remember looking at a while back...Zed
