Default HRP trip

I went to HRP tonight with a buddy of mine. Anyway, I wanted to see what the 4.8 would do stock before I started any major mods. Well, are the stats:
R/T - .309
60' - 2.863
1/8 - 11.36
1000 - 14.580
1/4 - 17.248 @ 84.80

I thought it would be better, maybe it was just me being my first time out. I did beat a RC obs Ford on that run though by .040 secs.

My buddy has a 2500 HD Duramax and ran a best of 14.9 with some mid 15s on the other two passes.

17.2 is what a stock 4.8 runs. Man i thought they would be aleast in the low 16's or something. My fault i see u have a extended cab.

out of my 3 passes, I did have a 2.6 60' time but I hit the rev limiter and had to back down to shift so that slowed me down a bit. I think I could have gotten down to the high 16s since I was still messing around with the Hypertech. There were too many people out there tonight so we left.

I went 15.926 bone stock in a ext cab 4.8 w/ no weight reduction. I guess we have a freak or something. Wait for some better weather and you will see better times it was high 90 degree temps yesterday

You have at least .5 sec slower in the weather conditions.

It was hot that's for sure - over 90. By winter, I should have some decent additions.
