Juan Transmission also built my transmission, lets just say he builts them well, my has been holding for a long time and know of plenty of people that is also running it...

blackbeast - sounds like you have a nice solid setup, a transbrake is the last thing i would be trying to do with the truck... make sure you test your truck first at the track, work out all your suspension mods first, make sure you got the right tire/wheel combo and maybe some caltracs, shocks etc.... a transbrake is useless without a solid suspension.... ESPECIALLy in an ext. cab...... i get 1.68 sixty ft at the track on motor and when i tried to spray a 125shot out of the hole it did NOT hold it cause i have no suspension for that.... thats why i have always sprayed it after the 60ft...

Before you even consider a trans brake you need a driveshaft loop and a stronger driveshaft as well. You really need both without the t-brake with your power potential and weight as it is.

No they are not stronger. But look under your truck to see if you have a 1 piece or 2 piece driveshaft. 2 piece is harder to break.

Personally i'd take it out how it is. You've already replaced the 10 bolt and the transmission. Those are the 2 weakest links. If you trust the builder then you need to hit the track and start working on suspension to get traction.
