I have a 2004 Silverado, and I was hoping someone could tell me the increments on the temp gauge.

 

its really just a dummy light, its accurate with in +-15 degrees

 

but that would read 194.375 degrees

 

Haha, Ya they are not very accurate. Mine moves a 1/4" going from 175-178 degrees.

 

when mine sits at 210 actual temp is 190-194

 

Well the big mark is half way between 160 and 210 so (210-160)/2+160 = 185.

There are 3 marks between each big mark, so 25/4 = 6.25 increments.

So in order, 160, 166.25, 172.5, 178.75, 185, 191.25, 197.5, 203.75, 210, etc.

 

Is this a real thread? Simple math should do the trick.

The stock gauge is useless. It has three readings; cold, running, and overheating.
