Default How Much to Tuck 15's

I have the opportunity to get a free set of brand new hoosier slicks. They are for 15 inch wheels though. I know they dont fit without a little rotor grinding. I searched but found nothing. How much did it take to tuck those 15's?

BTW- Im not taking a grinder to them so i just want an exact measurement that i can tell a machinist to take an exact amount off. I dont need out of balance rotors SO NO SMARTASS REDNECK ANSWERS!!

I can't say for sure but I thought you just had to grind down the calipers to make room not the rotors.

about 5-10 minutes of grinding on each caliper will do the trick

Well, you can grind a rotor down (resurfacing). They are done on a machine, if a rotor is unbalanced, it was to start with. Thats just a sign of an old rotor, nothing big, it happens over time. This is done to the face of the rotor though not the outside diameter to make the rotor smaller.

I was talking about taking more off the edge rather than the mating surface.

BTW Im dumb as **** for not thinking that the caliper was the issue.
