My 2002 z71 suburban just turned 280k...original engine and trans on it. Put in a cam at 160k and efans at 180k. I did replace the 2 shift solenoids in the trans about 100k miles ago when I lost 1st and 4th on the way home. Cost me about $50 in solenoids, fluid, and gasket...and about an hour
ive bought and sold so many vehicles since buying this one, but this one just won’t die...doesn’t even hardly get sick!

2002....
5.3 267k
I bought It new in 2002 with 17 miles on it when I got it. I drive the truck every day.
I built the transmission last year. And replaced the fuel pump 2 yrs. ago. That’s it other than replacing alternator and water pump.

Im at 318k now. It does have some cold start piston slap and does burn a little oil but still runs great for a DD.
