Engine never has been apart except for intake to install Radix and trany except for shift kit ans servo. I have 97k on stock internals 13psi boost and original transmission with shift kit and servo, self tuned. The Radix was installed when truck was new at 750 miles.
A well tuned engine and trans can last being boosted if done right.

My boosted 5.3 ate #3 and #5 ring lands at 90,000
The "new" 60,000 engine that's in it now has low oil pressure, and is coming back out
My old truck had 153,000 miles on it when I sold it last year. Had a cam 150 shot, and 6900rpm shift points from 110,0000 miles and never had a single issue with it.
