i have a 00 silverado with disk brakes on the rear, and i cant get my drag radials to hook at the track..i have 410 gears and a 26" drag radial is killing my gear ratio..i was wondering if anybody has made a 15" wheel fit on my application, im wanting to buy drag et's or something of that nature..any help would be greatful..

 

Someone makes a wheel that will fit, but I cant think who it is.
Everyone I know running 15's on the 99 up trucks, just ground a little off the caliper

 

You will have to grind the rear calipers to make 15" rims fit. Its pretty easy to do.

 

depending on the backspacing, you might get away with grinding stock calipers. if the backspacing is too much, you need s10 calipers and TONS of grinding.

well i did tons of grinding and it still didnt work..i had to un hook the rear brakes

 

Where you trying to make steel or aluminum rims fit? How much back spacing?

 

Suppose to be none up front.

 

I had to do some moderate grinding. I was told that if i would use spacers it would require less material to be removed from that caliper, but I decided against the use of spacers.
