Welll all I want is 7"s in the 1/8 mile. As soon as I get that time slip with that 7. sec. run it will be like someone pulled a dump truck off my shoulders. My truck is pretty light so long as I can hook it good, I should have a chance for 7's in the 1/8. Man after seeing everybody going with these stroker motors is got me wanting one. But I know I'm going half to build a 4L60 or fine a good cheap 4L80. Hey whats a good all round stroker kit company/ size.

Now that I am going back to school my goals shifted from low 10s to high 10s as I have to be careful how much money I spend. Although almost everything is already paid for I'm waiting to get the Z71 back form the paint shop and the converter problem fixed before we can start on the grey truck.

My combo to get me there consists of:

02' RCSB 2wd
Built 370cid by Synergy 9:1CR
226/220 turbo cam from the Z71
Stage3 6.0L heads
STS Turbo (GT67 .81 A/R for now but most likely go to the GT70 or bigger)
OBX FMIC
AlkyControl Meth injection
60lb Mototron injectors
QA1 drag shocks
Caltracs
16" Slicks
4L80E conversion
PI3500 multi-disc 5plate converter

You guys get the point.

High 10s is no easy feat in a truck and I've learned a lot from watching people like Parish, GMCSKI, 2toneblown etc. but I think I'll have the HP to do it and I have the knowledge from racing my Mustang and T/A so it should be doable.

Don't get my post wrong.....I'm just saying there's a ton of talk about 10s from alot of guys that haven't tasted 11s yet. Like I said.....alot more optimistic than me. I'd be really happy to have a solid mid/high 11 sec runner. 10s haven't even crossed my mind yet. I'm sort of a half empty kinda guy, you know. In my mind, its pretty much impossible to take my motor time of 12.5 and turn it into a 10(without fear of blowing the hell out of something. )

I'm glad to see all the 10 sec hopefulls. Maybe it will give me some inspiration to shoot for those kind of numbers.

I have went 10.64@126 in the s-10 with 235/60's on it.

Sooon to be a little closer to the 8's with the twin setup. Low 9's I could live with though.

Looking for low 12's high 11's right now. I am upgrading the turbo soon to a GT67. Going to ad more boost and a nice cam and springs. Also need to upgrade the injectors to 44lbs. Probably going to give it a 25 or 50hp shot on Nitrous. Should see 11's easy. If I dont blow it up.

Hopefully with meth, intercooler and 14-16psi.... I hope to be around high 12's

Then once the 5.3 blows..... I want to go with a carbed 502ci big block.. (maybe a turbo or 2)

times before mass air, new plugs, tb spacer in sig, ya I aint got ****, buttttt, found a set of almost new twin turbos(54 mm Garrett's) from a 6.0L truck that ran a 12 second puking the tranny at 1000'...he wants bigger and I might get a hell of a deal on them, that would be quite the project but I would definitely like the challange.
