Default How do I go about removing my O2 sensors?

I know where they are in there, and I see the wiring is connected with a clip, but I have a tendency to follow the "force = results" train of thought, and I've heard I need to be careful here. So, what's the best way to go about disconnecting the clip and removing the sensor itself? And when I go to buy new ones, they'll come with new wiring, right? Thanks in advance guys.

Not sure how the clip is on a 97 but generally there is just a plastic latch that needs to be pryed up to release the connector there may also be a plastic lock you have to pull out. There is on the newer ones, if so it's fairly obvious.

As for the sensor itself, soak the hell out of it in PB Blaster then use an open end wrench or a big crescent and screw it loose. The new sensor should have the correct wiring and connector.
