I have the same problem and its a bad horn. Too much resistence in the horn causing the fuse to pop. I just keep a bunch of extra 15a fuses laying around since I tend to lay on the horn for awhile when someone pisses me off!

Been wondering the same though as what's a good replacement other then using new factory horns. They're too wimpy.

The horns get water in them, then short out. Could be one, or both, but it's really common.

Your truck already has a relay, etc. You could just remove the factory horns, and then plug in whatever aftermarket horn you chose.

So does anyone reccomend a good aftermarket horn for us people that need a new one(s)?

And something that has a deeper tone then factory. I want the horn on my truck, to sound like a truck... Not a honda civic

Napa has their "blaster" line of replacement horns, louder than stock, same style as stock. Direct bolt on, only about $24 each.

7301056 - low note, 132 db, 420 hz
7301057 - high note, 130 db, 500 hz
