What?! That truck is actually pretty clean. Billet grille, 2tone leather seats, power, & rims( those IDK bout). Seems std. truck fare.

Fact is the measurable HP gain from ram/induction is minor, whereas heat extraction tho offering similar or no HP gain, adds huge to longevity of the motor and reduces stress. Blowers major drawback is huge amounts of heat and this may even get overall engine temps to drop a few degrees...I post the diff when I do it. R/
Good thinkin. Just do it & don't look back. I think it'll look sweet.

Looks like the best bet will be DIY and take my time...hardest part will be trimming the fibreglass pieces evenly to get a good finished edge. ...
I'll start a build thread once I get the ball rolling...
In Conn., they got $ like that?!? I didn't know u were a Baller. So if I had your $, I could throw mine away?

tdrumm, he said he'd post pics.

dh looked @ Suncoast, too much $ or not styled how wanted, in earlier post.
You're not dumb, just ignorant. That means lack of knowledge. You haven't done it( nor have I, BTW), but it no way does it mean dumb. Or u could build 1. Never too old to learn.

I checked EVERYTHING/EVERYWHERE, even custom builders. Seems the Mustang guys are the only aftermarket builders that actually work on heat extraction. Mecham hoods show up on some Vettes as well, but rare. The SC hood with xtractors that looked cool wasn't avail for Chevy only GMC and all their hoods came with Ram/Induction and extractor options. I called them and the extractors are really just an afterthot and not really engineered. Ideally u want them in the front of a sloping nosed hood as that shud be the point of highest pressure, however if u build up a lip that the air must climb and mount it farther back (mecham) then a high pressure area is created behind it and it actually pulls air out while ur driving - that the theory and I think it actually will be cool having a 1 off that I certainly wont see around here!
