Default 5.3 Cold Start issues ='[

So, lately its been getting worse and worse. When I fire her up she tries to stall for about 3 to 4 seconds before firing up. IM thinking fuel pump or FPR. I removed the vacum line on the Fuel Pressure Regulator but no fuel. =[ So I may just dish out the 200 bucks for a new fuel pump assy and hope it does the job. keep in mind I still get full throttle response with no issues. Just starting my baby is the problem ='[

If you turn the key to run without starting, can you hear the pump cycle? Does it sound funny at all? Any lack of power on the top end?

Yea I can hear the pump. Its the first thing I checked lol. I am also due for a oil change but as silly as it sounds im taking everything into consideration. Its gotta be something to do with the fuel system.

I actually have the same issue. It only occurs on cold starts. It has been doing this for a while now, I haven't had too much time to really dig into it. I replaced plugs with no change.

Yea it kinda scared me for a while but figured its nothing major sense she runs really good when she actually gets started. I have not cleaned the throttle body but did pull the intake off and cleaned what i could on it. When I finger it out you all will be the first to know. Thanks guys.
