Default Homemade CAI questions

Alrighty guys i had done a ram air set up with just my stock air box and rigged a dryer vent to my lower valance and used that for a while. It was not much to look at and i finally tore the damn thing out. I just got a big K&N filter in today ( 4" flange, oval filter) that im gonna use as an open element air filter. Looks freakin cool BTW.

The question of the hour is has anyone got any pics and or suggestions for me to what to buy in order to get it installed and not looked ghetto-fabulous. I would really like to know where you got grommets and tubing and the elbows as well. For the life of me i cant find anything other than crappy looking PVC that is bound to look bad. Thanks guys

I have already bought that filter and really dont have a lot of $$ to spend on a volant set up thats gonna cost me over $100. Im a poor college kid and Gas is killing me! My female hasnt been to a nice dinner at a restaraunt in like a month. I have been on the look out for some 4" stainless steel tubing, but my attempts arent working so good because all we have is 4.5" tubing and then way smaller stuff(like 1/2 and 1/4 and small crap that doesnt help). I really need to know how to get an elbow fitted up to my tb and what other people have used as an elbow. However thanks for the suggestion.

what storm posted is what i used to make my own. i have said it before and i'll say it again, i'll put it up against any cai on the market. if it gets beat, it won't be by much. then again, the money i saved, i win no matter what.

thanks for the advice. I think im gonna go that route. What did you use for connections. (you know between the elbow and the TB, the tubing to the elbow and the MAF to the tubing and such like that)
