Is this a DBW or DBC throttle body?

I've got a DBW one I can part with, PM me if interested.

andrew383 thats some nice work, my dremmel skills are nowhere near what yours are lol.
I may pull mine this afternoon and post pics.
I'm watching a stock dbw on e-bay that has a 49.99 buy it now thats at 9.99 and ends in 3 days. Also made an offer on a p&p'd tbss that another member has listed here in the classifieds.
This is turning into quite the dilemma lol...ideally I could find one local to minimize down time and hopefully for around 50 bucks or less, but thats not panning out.
The hell of it is I was supposed to get a tune tomorrow lol.

btw, a tbss tb will fit on the stock truck intake right?

here's a crappy cell pic of my crappy job:

The coolant bypass isn't the problem, that's just there to keep the throttle body warm to prevent icing of the throttle blade during the winter. If you removed any of the throttle body where the blade seats, the throttle body is now nothing more than an expensive paperweight...you're only supposed to remove material up to the blade, but not from the bore where the blade seals.

Try epoxing the bypass hole and drill a smaller inlet like the pic on the left. This fixed mine, but i have a cable one. I had the high idle after I knifed edged it too. I had to enlarge it more when the temps dropped below -10 but since your in OK that shouldn't be a problem. Don't trash it yet.
