Default hemi not that quick

i was out in my moms truck earlier today after changing the oil in it and a ram extended cab hemi pulled up next to me. he wanted to race so i did and he took off quick off the line then i caught him for a bit then he was a head of me. my moms only has the 4.8 i thought he would beat me worse than he did.

personally i rape hemi's.. but my brother has an 04 gmc sierra 5.3 extended cab.. all he has is a 3 chamber flowmaster and a wheatley tune, also sittin on 24" wheels....and he beat a hemi!! lol the hemi was also runnin on the stock 17's not the 20's.

imagine if a chevy truck had a 5.7 litre 345hp engine like a hemi?!?!?! thats basically an ls1 in a truck lol. that woulda been sick if that came from the factory

I personally think they have a good platform, the tuning software out there for them are terrible IMO.Once HPT releases for them,I think they will run pretty darn good.We will see shortly.

Yeah, if they ever get good tuning, they will be a force. Hell, most run good now with just the handhelds.
