4th gens(09+) are a lot quicker. Just a heads up

Obviously you aren't going to run into too many that are modded much, but I'll put my stock truck up against most bolt on bowties

Those are all over the board, time wise. The regular cabs are a 6 speeds so the driver plays a big part, and really they have major traction issues even with the automatic quadcabs. I want to say the quickest times for a rc is in the 12s, but typically you won't see guys near that. Some mags were happy to break 13s when they first got their hands on them

Yep I certainly have, didn't fare to well for him, I am 100% stock

I agree hemi trucks run good for what they are, even though I bash them, I am Gm loyal, but give some credit where it is do. My buddy has a 09 hemi, with just a handheld, cold air, it surprised me for sure...

i have a 2000 gmc 4.8.. with some tune that i have no idea what it is.. it was in the truck when i bought it... flowmasters. and shackles. but my buddy has a 07 quad cab dodge hemi wit a hand held tune a a few small bolt ons.. we raced from 50 to 120. he was just bearly crawlin past me. and he shut off at 120 and i was only at 4000rpms and i could still go to 6000 rpm... so on top end hes just bearly faster than me. but just bearly. if we raced from a 30 he would get me by a few links....
