yes i still have wipers! lol! i just tapped into the wire then put a fuse right after it.

is it the one that faces outward? did you tap the wires or the panel?

Its the little square plastic piece that is under where the 4WD selector would be on the left of the steering wheel. I just tapped into the wires and then plugged the wire harness back into the back of the plastic piece and snapped it back in. Very easy to get to and tap into. I'll take a look tomorrow to see what wire I tapped into for my 12v key on source.

ok, I found a tach input & ignition source in the wiring to the gauge cluster; still looking for a dimmer location. greentahoe, On the back of the light control box, i found the headlight output, but when I put the test light on it, it turns the headlights off, I forget what this means, been a while, what do you think? Also I'll be running 5 gauges total, will those small wires support all 5? I'm also going to fuse the power source; is a 3amp enough?
