I was surprised with the 60 ft.'s myself. Not going to lie. 
Atlas would be the I4/I5/I6 GM engines, that started in the early 00's. VVT on the exhaust side, no egr. LK5/L52's were available in the '05 Colorado.

Ahh, I should've known that, seeing how I worked for GM when those came out..... 
We hated/loved those first gen 5 cylinders. Hated all the cylinder head/valve guide problems they had. But loved the commissions on them.
When I read the word Atlas, I immediately thought of the badass Atlas transfer cases. lol

They are a bitch to work on, IMO. Parts were too expensive, I had to replace the head on mine, and I had to pull the whole damn left side of the truck off (it seemed like) just to get to the thermostat. Maybe I just frustrated too quickly, but I couldn't stand working on it. On nitrous, the little truck was quite a trip, though. Held up to a 125 shot.
And no, no Atlas transfer case.
