Default Help! My DIC's Too Bright!

I installed the SS cluster I had the mileage reprogrammed, now the problem is with the cluster lighting. I don't like the brightness of the DIC at full, so I turn down the dash lights, but the backlighting behind the guages is now too dim when I have DIC at a comfortable brightness.

Can the brightness of the DIC be programmed differently than the gauge lighting?

Only time my DIC has been too bright was when I forgot to pull of the glow in the dark condom.

I honestly dont know but have you checked your manual? They keep these in the glovebox, usually wrapped in a fancy vinyl case. Some overlook them. I opened mine one day and it hit me all at once "Hot DAMN! Theres stuff about my truck in heeyah!" and it was all downhill from there.

I just keep my DIC off unless I want to check it for some reason.

I know they can turn the brightness of the high beam indicator down, maybe they can do the DIC also.
