okay i have a single cab 1998 chevy silverado 5.7L stock and this guy wants to race me with a 2006 toyota tunda 4.7L stock in a quarter mile and idk who would win in that race....????? thanks

 

If your truck runs good,it would be close...but with it being "stock" I think he will pull you..
-for reference I raced a STOCK ext cab 4.7l up hill in my old 99rcsb 4.8l with intake, exhaust, shortie, headers, and programer a barely pulled him , and the 4.8 is rated at least 30+ hp more than the 5.7 vortec..

only way to know for sure is to DO IT DO IT

 

okay thank you and i just found out that he has a 4 inch lift with some 35s tires on it..... his a 4x4 and mine is 2x4 and i hav 22in rims with medium pro federals (street) i think i could win but idk......

 

I think he's gonna kill you even on the 35s. Those 4.7s are strong

 

If he is lifted on 35s, you will beat him no problem. Stock for stock, it would be a close race.

 

I think you'll get murdered.

 

this is only the 4.7 toyota people. I beat this with my 4.8L stock, and this one is lifted with big tires further slowing it down. If it was the 5.7L toyota, then yes he would take you more than likely. Run the thing and report back here, oh and take video if you can.
