the 4.7 will win for sure man, they run low 15's stock. ur prob high 15's, those tires will slow his truck down but so will ur's

i was out at the 1/8th mile track 3 months ago with my buddy that had a 4.7 and it ran a 9.9 1/8th mile, so you do the math. Either way just have fun man thats wat its about.

You sure it was a 4.7 and not a 5.7? If it was a 4.7 it was modified a bit. They are peppy, but no faster than a 16 sec stock 1/4 time.

If you think a 380hp 5.7 tundra runs a 10 sec 1/8th mile, you really need to spend more time at the drag strip...

IDK about the 4.7 but a friend has a 98 CC 3500 5.7 2wd(heavy truck)and it is slooowww. My 04 EC 2wd 4.8 seems really quick compared to his and it ran a 16.12 @ 87.38 quarter mile in good weather at about 700'.

Run him and tell us how it went.
