Exclamation HELP gauge cluster goof 00 silverado

So I was doing the clearing of my tach needle to match the rest of the cleared ones in my gauge cluster. Well of course I accidentally broke it. I reassembled the cluster and left the broken needle off. (I had all the needles off to clear them for Led's) I have overnighted a set of new needles that are already red. My question is can I drive my truck with the cluster in it w/out the tach needle actually on the tach, or will that mess up the calibration in some way? I don't see why it would but I want to make sure first and my truck is hanging halfway out of my garage and I'm not wanting to start it for fear of messing up the cluster. Thanks in advance!!! Truck is a 2000 silverado

You don't need the needle.
