Default Help!!!!!

ok long story short 2000 extcab got broken in to and they tryed to steal it broke a plastic cable that plugs in to the ignition switch houseing and i dont know the name or were i can get one thanks

texas it moves in and out when you turn the key
i was fixing my heater core and now my truck stars and dies after i 3-5 sec but when its on engine seams fine just wont stay runing

Sounds like a Passlock problem if it dies after 2 or 3 seconds.

Ok tried the key on for ten min 3times. No luck but its night and notice the headlights dont come on and the interior even if I push the buttons our turn the ****?

this is starting to sound like something might be kinda fubarred. report it to your insurance, and drop it off at the dealership. Let them fix it.

$500 clame or $275 for a new passlock!
I saw a guy talk about a buypass with cuting a wire and adding a resister?
But I cant find any write up on it any help thanks guys!
