heat issues...

hey guys ive been havin some heat issues and with the weather lately here in illinois its been pretty brutal...a while back i swapped a 160 t-stat in the truck...drove it all throughout summer then when winter came around heat sucked...drained the dexcool and flushed the whole system and reallty flushed the heater core which was clogged...now heats great but the issue is with my fan speed...its like it doesnt push hard, 1 and 2 barely work and even on 5 with recirculated it still doesnt push like it should, just feels extremely weak. am i looking at a blower motor problem? resistor or switch? blower motor is quiet, no noises or clicking...just weak fan speed. any help would be greatley appreciated
thanks

Yup definitly could happen. Also, I know the heater boxes are quite different but I had a dodge the other day that the fan output was horrible on. Pulled the blower and the recirc door was broken and blocking the incoming air to the fan.

a low dime, definitley try flushin it man...helped me a lot, occasionally id get heat just like you said...not i always have heat, now that i do the truck wants to be a turd and not push it. as for the cabin air filter, ill definitley check that out. dumb question but is that located behind the glovebox like most cars? or in a different place?

Just changed mine, made quite a difference in power. $16 after taxes. Now I need to fix my heat. Top radiator hose is hot, lower is luke warm at best. Heater hose on passenger side was barely luke warm, the hose closest to drivers side was hot to touch.
