These aren't track times, but with a GTech meter I ran 15.2's with the stock 17's, and 15.5's with 20's. Same air temps and the conditions were nearly identical. I have the hypertech, but don't use it now that I have the nitrous. Have fun at the track.

Maka, what I was saying in an earlier reply, was you'll be fine. As in I think 15.2-15.4 is doable. Tq. Mgmt kills ETs. Some of the bed covers I've heard anywhere from 100-200# extra. If u are curious on weight of your wheels. Put 1- 17 combo on scale. I'm curious on the 17 weight. Steel or alum.? Also, please tell me tire brand/specs. Then toss 22 on scale for your own info. Post its weight/specs too, if u like. We'll go from there. I curious what you'll gain w/ tune, ET-wise.

Well most likely Im going to soon be going with a blackbear or wheatley tune which means I would have to send them my pcm ... wont be until after the track. I put the 17s on they are the cheaper steelie wheels, they are grey with holes all around the GMC center cap. They are running 275/65r17 I think... my 22s are running 305/40r22 and trust me they weigh at least 20 pounds less.. I put the 17s on and they spin like crazy... I have a soft tonnaue bed cover

The 22s are lighter? See, I thought you had 17" alum.( they have those, right?). Do u have hitch? My bad on tonneau. BTW, what state is blackbear from? I've heard name before. When I had tune, I felt a difference. Just to do dyno pulls, tuner had to remove various GM imposed strangleholds. Have an ultimate ET goal? Almost forgot, I don't know weight(wt). of NNBS. Extra fuel in tank slows too. Just a few thoughts to try to help u run the number.

Nooooo the 22s are pounds heavier than the stock 17s and I think they are alum. they are like the spare rims but in grey.. No I dont have a hitch I got a 2wd with no hitch so I could go fast. I have 3.23 gears. I will be sending my PCM out to him monday overnite and then he will get it tuesday, tune and then overnite it back to me same day... so I should have it Wednesday. Im going to be close to empty hopefully when I get there with the good 50 degrees or below NY cold... Im going to chek my weight later.
