I might go back out there sunday and try the dodge again if the air is really good like it is now. I think we are taking our mustang toy out to Pinevalley in Lufkin and running

Have any of ya'll heard about a track in or around Dibool? I remember someone on here trying to get me out there a while back, but I never made it out there.

I was talking to a racer the other day and he said that track was awsome. He also commented on how Hallsville has lost it's bite and the track goes to **** after the 1/8 mile mark.

He has a 69 Nova I think it was that runs mid 9's all motor.

Yes, thats the track at Lufkin, I love racing there. I have ran 10.0's over 130 in the mustang and I am not worried, concrete walls down both sides, the track usally hooks good. Hallsville has had bad traction the last couple of times out for me, finally was good some sunday, but yes, anything fast has trouble 1/8th mile or so. Our 10 second mustang cannot make it down the track in the left lane on a regular day. The track down there is a very nice one, again I think we are going Saturday and shooting for the 9's might play with the hemi on sunday at Hallsville, running 14's with a peg leg rear end I feel safe

He also commented on how much safer that track felt. He said there was more than enough room to shut down at Lufkin I guess it is. He said he won't make a full un at Hallsville for that very reason.

I guess once I get the bugs worked out, I need to make a trip down there and see what I can do with some better traction.

Going there is worth it, we feel the same way, we can make full passes down there, what racer was it, a local one, I have a family member that has a nova, blue and white with a 540 in it

Does he work at a dealership in Kilgore? I was up there applying for a job and started talking to him while I was waiting on the manager. He showed me a video he had on his work computer. It's a damn fine car from what I could tell.
