Angry Ha Ha Ha I did it now, I did a boo boo :(

1st prob is I am on my 3rd belt now, broke it last thurs eve,@ about 3600rpms duno why. Only thing coming to mind is there was a small chip in the crank pulley, when I bought the motor, but I filed that out smooth, all the acc are inline along with the blower. So that night I found most of the belt, was wrapped behind the crank pulley and it was dark out, I was leaving for the boat races fri. I looked the best I could, got the belt pieces out from behind it best I could, friday before I left got a belt, put it on when I came home yesterday.. Long story short. Went out to check AFR with the new tune, noticed up top(rpm) oil burning, so after seing it twice I came home, sure a **** that belt fuked the seal around the crankshaft (cam cover) it is blowing it out there at high rpms.. So I have a new project this weekend... So luckly I still have the 4.8 so I am going to use that pulley, get a new gasket.... RANT DONE

Shitty. I had a buddy with a GTO put a Procharger on his car and he ate a couple belts in short order too.
