home-made K&N , works like a charm, so far no vacuum leaks..

The LS3 is roughly, if not the same height as the LS1. It's just an AEM truck intake for 99-07 Silverados. I powdercoated the intake tube because I'm not a fan of the chrome, but they do come in a grey if you wanted grey to match your paint. Everything bolts up just as it did with the truck intake, the only difference is the angle which looks better with the car manifold anyway.

Intakehoses dot com has aluminum intake tubing, and any size/shape/angle coupler you can imagine for very good prices. They also ship cheap & fast.

The radiator hose bracket, ya I cut that off and used a flap disc to smooth it out. You can't tell a bracket was ever there after powdercoat.

EDIT: 4". The coupling that comes with the kit fits over the 90mm TB's and the intake tube perfect.

if you wanted to lose your MAF, would the pipe be long enough to reach the filter?
