got some new g-tech times
#1
well, i got out of work today and it was super cold out and the truck was running really good so i took the long way home and found some country roads. i was able to do 3 runs. 2 seem legit, 1 is BS.
1st run (the BS run, slight dip in the road at about the 1/8 mile mark)
auto4WD launch (felt like a really good launch, but it doesn't show in 60')
ET = 14.820
60' = 2.527
0-60 mph = 6.492
2nd run (auto4WD again, little wheel hop, launch did not feel as good as 1st)
ET = 15.325
60' = 2.490
0-60 = 6.933
3rd run (4HI this time)
ET = 15.354
60' = 2.499
0-60 = 7.014
overall, i was pleased with the 1/4 mile times being around 15.3. i bet with a little weight reduction (tailgate, spare, backseat, and less gas), i could knock a few tenths off. the downside is still the 60' times.
i was hoping for 2.2 or 2.3 since i have a 3000 stall TC.

ya, i think i am done modding this one. i thought about a Nelson tune, but who knows. i might someday be spontaneous and trade the '99 in for a new one and start all over. i am happy with what i have. time to save $$$ up for a house now
