Default got a problem.

i got a 2004 chevy silverado single cab, 5.3 liter v8. today in the morning i tried to turn it on and it wouldn't budge. i know for a fact that the stock battery is dead. i tried jump starting it with a performance battery that i had laying around but still did not turn on. i was thinking maybe that performance battery was low to so i just left it alone.should i try jump starting it with another car or wha should i do?[/B]

Try to jump it with another car, prolly gonna have to keep the other car running and possibly put some RPM's to it to get enough current to your truck to get her going. Or try charging either battery with a battery charger and see what happens. Once you get it going take it to Auto Zone or something and have the charging system checked.
