I start work at a Gmc/pontiac/olds dealership tomorrow. I am starting as a service advisor. Can you say hook up on parts
. Also time to start back on the motor since some good money will be coming in again.

Cool deal man, how in the hell did you get by without a job for so long?
I can see it now. A LS1Tech truck guy comes in with a blown motor and trans with the nitrous bottle still hooked up with the guage reading 1100psi and RED says "Yeah, we can warranty that"
Good luck with the new job.

Well they seem to make pretty good money. They make a % of every ticket you write up. I am just $12 a hour till my training is over and then i am straight commision. they asked me what I was used to making and needed to make, I said about $35,000 a year. The guy laughed and said if you only make that here your not doing enough and will get the boot. This dealership is only about a year old. Old dealership but new building. Everything is spotless and very up to date. Yeah I went shopping through the GM parts catalog and my eyes started to widen. Plus I cant get ls1 cores cheap. I can see myself giving alot of my checks back to the parts department. I found out a couple of guys working in the shop race with me at the local dirt track so it is nice to have some common ground with a couple of people. Xl8ness- Yeah gotta help my fellow Sprayers out ya know. Rearend noise huh, may I suggest 4.10 and a locker to go back in it? They sell Toyo tires here so I got a hook up on toyo proxes

Hmm, if you're working around Christmas time maybe I'll have to convince my parents to go by and we could visit ya. If I end up going and helping my grandparents or uncle this year over the summer I'll let you know, maybe I'll have my truck by then and if not hopefully I can convince my dad to let me take the 98 TA. Fayetteville is a pretty cool place...well compared to the rest of Arkansas. Good luck with the job. Also what's your name and what dealership? I'll suggest you to my uncle for his Tahoe and he knows a lot of people with Suburbans and is glad to give references when a good job is done.
