On my gf's 01 ECSB 4.8. I could not belive by how little he beat me.
1st Race From a dig he pulled 1.5 truck lengths on me and did nop pull anymore. We took up to about 70.
2nd Race From a 30 roll he put 1-1.5 truck lengths on me and did not pull any more. We took it to about 80.

The only think thing this truck has is a true dual Magnaflow exhaust.
I really thought it was going to be worse.

 

WOW,i would have never thought it would be that close,So is it just that the hemi is weak or that the 4.8 deserves more credit?Can you give a few more detail,yours is a xcab 2x4, and the hemi?It must have been a 4x4 xcab?

 

Oh boy ... here we go again. 4.8's aren't all that either. Man .. that should have been a little more of a pull on ya.

My gf's is an 01 Sierra EC 4.8 3.73
My friends Hemi is an 03 Quad Cab Hemi 3.92 on 20's.

Have you run your buddies Hemi in your truck at all? Out of curiosity, how bad can you take him?

I did run him when my truck only had the UPD and nothting else not even exhaust. We went from a dig and had a .5 truck length on him to about 30mph and was pulling on him hard.... We had to let off because of traffic. He did not want to run me again after that short race.

that is sweet that you and your GF have something in common = trucks. why is it that i always find the girls that drive VW JETTAS .

ask the your hemi bud for a race w/ your truck. or have you done that already?
