Ok so I did it.. Kinda!

I got a ton of runs in as it was pretty dead out there but the burnout was the tricky part. With my open diff. it's hard to get both tires spinning at the same time and keep em going after the shift. If i ever go again stock I'm gonna do 1st gear burnouts only. LOL

Near the end I had to air the slicks down to 22psi to keep traction but the poor lil 4.8L just didn't have the ***** to get me better than a 2.29 60'. Once out of the 60' the thing picks up and takes off like a bat out of hell. The MPH eventuaqlly came back down the more I aired the slicks down but such is life when looking for traction.

I also noticed power seemed to drop a bit after the first couple runs. I'm guessing that I got a lil KR somewhere and it may have shifted to the low octane table since my tune is set for 91 octane and I was running 87.. Bleh..

Best run of the night:

60' :2.291
1/4mile : 14.95
MPH : 91.94

Next best run:

60' : 2.305
1/4mile : 15.014
MPH : 92.89

I ran a 6 other runs that were within a couple hundredths of eachother.

60' : 2.3-2.34
1/4mile : 15.04-15.07
MPH : 91.8-92.0

This thing is consistant as a ****!

With stickier tires I think you can do it DJ. Drag Radials would probably be best as without a lot of HP the slicks tend to slow us down on the big end which si why I kept the tire pressure as I high as i could.
