Default GM Parts Direct.

What the heck is up with thier shipping and handling charges? I was going to order a smooth front bumper cap from them which is around $60 and they are going to charge $75 for shipping! I can get the damn thing from my dealer for around $100. GM Parts Direct leads you to believe you're getting a sweet deal but makes it all back up and then some on the shipping. For instance, I priced out a chrome Tahoe grille from them at around $250 and the shipping on that item which is heavier, comes to around $35. Are thier any other online OEM parts stores that have legitimate prices and tries not to gouge you on the shipping?

I just ordered the parts from Scoggin Dickey. The total order was about $20 cheaper than GM Parts Direct. Sorry about the rant above but I'm from the school where if you give someone a price on something you don't rack up the price on something else to make up your profit.

I will NEVER buy anything from GM Parts Direct. Shipping is supose to pay for the item you are buying to get to your house. Once you buy the product, the profit is supposed to be made. GMPD must have guys in the shipping dept making 200K a year. They suck and that's all there is to it!

Please continue to use Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center, they are the exclusive GM Parts dealer on this site. They also support our events and are great people to deal with. If it isn't on their site, give them a call!

That's fine but $75 shipping for a $60 part that would be lucky to weigh 5lbs? There's something wrong there.
